The term “ADA braille signs” refers to a wide range of sign types that follow the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) standards for braille size/spacing, as well as general sign design and installation.
The ADA is a comprehensive civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on disability. To that end, the ADA outlines a number of sign design specifications that must be followed by businesses to make all products, services, buildings, and information totally inclusive.
